About Us
My name is Matthew Heur, a student at La Canada High School and I saw a huge need in the La Canada and La Crescenta Community for a helping hand for daily, household tasks, especially for the community’s seniors.
To make myself and other teens available and accessible, I made a group called Strong Teens Stronger Community and this scheduling website to make it easy for anyone to ask and receive help.
Our mission is to bridge the generational gap and make a positive impact in our community by providing compassionate support and assistance to seniors with physical tasks. Through meaningful connections and shared experiences, we aim to foster a stronger, more inclusive community where empathy, respect, and intergenerational bonds thrive.
Our Core Values
- Compassion: We want to demonstrating empathy, kindness, and understanding in all interactions
- Community Impact: we want to make a positive and meaningful impact on the community
- Respect: we value the dignity, experiences, and contributions of seniors and teens
- Generosity: we encourage a spirit of giving and generosity among teens and community members
